Got to hit Antero recently and it turned out to be a Brown Trout kind of day. I only managed one Bow, a small super healthy one about 14".
But it was the brown trout bite that was reasonably good. But for the most part they are really thin! I did manage to hook one really nice brown but it got off at the toon. I don't think it was much longer than the others but it's girth was probably double. As you look at the pics.. the one in the water is the one that got off!
AND I know we say this a lot, especially in South Park.. WEAR YOUR PFD! It was already windy when I got there but when I left it was ridiculous. It took an hour for me to get from the west side of Antero to the East side.
