anglerwannabe and SGM's box of crappie sent me into a jealous spiral this week. Went out for some payback yesterday. Forecast for tolerable winds, but 10 minutes after launch I got blown off by a steady 30-40 MPH blast. Here we go again. Thought about going home, but took a nap in the truck and waited it out. Eventually the wind calmed down for a few hours of good fishing. By the time I found them, there wasn't much light left. Mostly 8-9 inch shakers, but this big MA barndoor beast made everything ok again.
