I made one last trip with my buddy back up to the Indian Peaks Wilderness to chase after wild Brook Trout through the ice for a catch and cook AND to try and find my missing iPhone 11!
Can't imagine more pure joy than catch and cook Brookies on wilderness ice. Starting to wonder if you could drag a broken old man up there in your sled. Also wondering what the world record brook trout is caught with a tree branch.

@Barnacles, if I could I would! Honestly maybe we could do it next season. I did take my 72 year old buddy Bill out in one of my first videos. He was able to hike up to Brainard which is only about 2 miles. I pulled the sled and he just walked.

Too bad you could not find the phone. But a very wonderful video and loved seeing you guys have a trout dinner. I recently ice-fished in a Snowbear on Devils Lakle and one of the nearby guides asked us for a magnet. Evidently a fisherman leaned over and his keys fell into 25 FOW. I doubt he ever got them back.
@johnski oh man! How was it in the Snobear? I saw that Jay Siemens did a couple of his episodes in on and the Mindak boys too. They look epic. Did you catch?
