Why We Need to Fact Check

I wasn't at the tournament. Looks good to me, guy catches big fish, wins prize.

Only issue I see is that comment about biggest laker out of grand lake, when they meant biggest laker at a tightline tourney at grand lake. Likely a quote taken out of context which makes sense. Last time I checked that guy still won.

Does that fish look 6.15 pounds?

Either the measurements are right with an incorrect image, or the image is correct and the reported size numbers are totally bogus.

If the measurements are correct then that fish was right under the slot. I don’t think the tightline folks would fudge the measurements for fear of losing their permit. But… anything is possible in the age of misinformation.

Well we all do the stiff arm. I guess maybe fact checking is not the thing we should be worried about. Just photo editing and our smart phones building up our egos ha!

Big enough to hold 22 crawfish . . .some were still alive when the fish was cleaned.

The stiff arm is probably right. It made the fish look enormous! My bad then....
