Who manages the stocking at the T.G.P?

Post By: ScottyK      Posted: 3/21/2022 5:28:38 PM     Points: 318
Fishing this area for over 10 years and since the covid outbreak, the hold over trout are just not there like in years past. Was there a generation gap due to covid? Curious how to get more info...

Hi Scotty

I believe this is the person to call with TGP questions.

Hey ScottyK,
Check the link at the top of the stocking data section of the page. Regardless of whether the body of water has stocking records or not the link will take you to a map showing CPW biologists and their jurisdiction, along with contact info.

I was there the 2nd week of May 2021. One would have thought they were at a lake snagging Kokanee. Back to back and taking trout over their limits. Made me sick. But the Rainbows were 16-18" avg , some even bigger. I idn't get there again but a friend of mine went twice in the fall and said it was a dead zone then for rainbows, People are taking more than legal limits of bass as well and way under size. Little to no oversite.
