Large emergency response today at Georgetown Lake when the first call came in that 2 boys had fallen through the ice. At least 8 or 9 first responders showed up quickly to help 2 fishermen. Both were OK thankfully. Can't be careful enough! A spud bar is your best friend next to a PFD if it's even close to questionable.

Georgetown sucks for that. I fished it once last year and watched 3 people fall in within an hour. Uneducated tourists and an ice skater. None were prepared.

It was out from the last parking lot down towards the dam..

Did they find anyone? I was out there by the rest room when they all arrived (around 3:00). They then all headed down by the dam
