Georgetown Bows and Browns

Got the kayak out on Georgetown a couple weeks ago and had a blast! A ton of fish caught on jerkbaits. Many of the browns had a cool kype at the time and their colors were beautiful! Heres a video recap if youd like to watch the action: [log in for link]

Great job on the video. Tough to beat those jerkbaits.

You're braver than me, landing trout without a net when they have a face full of trebles.

It's mostly due to the fact that if I net them, I often get trebles stuck in the net and they can be a pain to get out. I usually only net them if they look barely hooked or if they're bigger than average.
