Fish: Largemouth Bass

November Bass

Normally, bass fishing is something I do a couple of times in the spring and summer. Set out the other day to try to find some walleye or crappie. Flung my jig across a long weedy point and something thumped it about 12 feet down. Thought I was into a nice walleye, but pulled up a 14" largemouth. Got about 8 more in the next hour out of the same hole. Pretty well skunked on crappie and walleye, but these things saved the day.

Awesome, Barnacle. Always fun to go on a run even when itís not the fish you started after. No one complains about nice bass!

Cool, I have no experience to catch bass in November. Good to read. Can we eat bass fish, If someone describe how does it taste?

Hey Jammy, They're not bad to eat, but not my favorite either. I always let them go.
