Anybody experience some great action but did not post because they had to go alone or they just use a dum fone.........Like me?
Due to my sales occupation, I typically head up at the drop of a hat during the week. Just me and my Fender Strat/ Fender amp. I lucked out this spring when I hit the Mile 3X during the same week. There were just a few strips of open water and the weather was a hand destroyer. I landed 30 bows/cuttbows with not a single fish under 5 lbs. Every strike was a landed fish. I did not miss a single one --nor did I snap any off. I kept 2 (25 incher and 26 incher). All others were released very quickly. Many were in the 7-9 lb range. I wish some of my old buds were still around to go with me but hey.............. Btw, I went 6 days later when the ice was gone. Fished all day with similar setup. Zero bites. Zero fish...... The Mile is a fickle bizzzzeatch!

Dude. My grandkids are driving and I have my Les Paul & smartphone hooked to the same Bluetooth speaker. Seriously, it seems like every time I forget my phone I end up catching a monster. Somehow, all I get is the reputation of being fat liar. For what it's worth, I believe you.

Fishing is ALWAYS great, even when you don't catch them.

That being said, when you can't take pictures is when they bite the best!

I totally had a THICK 36" Pike that I caught from shore at a local pond where I grew up.... called my dad to check and see if the cutting board and plastic bags were home to filet the fish as opposed to going "I should take a picture of this".... I hadn't unhooked the Pike yet.... but while I was on the phone, he flipped, unhooked the spoon, flipped 2 more times and went back in the water in the span of like 5 seconds.
I was so mad.

Sweet! Itís either the phone died just previous to catching the biggest fish or you donít have the net when you REALLY NEED IT!!😜🎣👊
