Survival

Just wondering how many of the 200,000 fingerlings recently stocked in John will make it long enough to become catchable fish? It sounds like a food frenzy for the larger fish in there and though fish grow rapidly in that lake, I'm betting that not many will make until the fall. Just sayin'.

Stats say about 10% survive . . .you should see the feeding frenzy at Aurora when the state brings a truck load of stockers.

Seems to me that the survival rates could be higher than other lakes due to the sticklebacks that are in there. They are the main food source for stockers and established fish alike. Stickleback imitations please.
