A friend will be in Colorado October 8-10 and wants to target Kokanee on fly at the Dream Stream. I never target them. How has the fall fishing for kokes been? Any advice for him?

if they aren't on that river, the Gunnison usually has a longer season, from Neversink all the way up to Almont. Just gotta time it right, so the longer Gunnison River has more opportunities, and way more fish in Blue Mesa than Elevenmile, too.
