River: Colorado River Glenwood Spgs to Rifle
Fish: Cutbow Trout

Hot Bite on the River, 4 different spots.

Got my buddy Coach Tanner out for some fishing recently on the River. It had been a while for him and he was hoping for an invite. Glad I took him because he was crushing the trout all day!! Always good to get a friend into some fish and see the childish joy overcome their face.

Fished 4 different locations with fish caught out of every spot. Cutbows, Rainbows, and a few browns were the species. Cutbows were the biggest and prettiest by far... All caught on the Ghost Cutthroat from Dynamic Lures.

The weather was warm and sunny and the river was a little lower then normal for this time of year it seems, but it appears to be flowing more since I made this video (about a week ago). I have no data to back this up, just observations.

Hope you all enjoy the video!

Great video as usual, I sound like a broken record, but that's how it is. I would like to make one suggestion for releasing your fish, you do a good job handling the fish, but if you hold the fish facing up stream into the current they will let you know when they are ready to swim away on their own. The current forces water over their gills in a more naturel way and they will start to swim away on their own and you can slowly release your grip.

Thanks for the comment and good suggestion. That makes more sense, I had the same thought in mind but I guess I was thinking of their breathing in reverse😫😅 I will make that adjustment moving forward!

Haha just a tad...Biggest corn lake trout I've ever gotten is 17" i think, after combing through about a thousand in a few trips lol.

Well you go to all the trouble making videos with drones and the pics too. Im such a desk jockey lately because Covid seems to be a great excuse for pathetic customer service. I am a professional babysitter on every sale I make these days. I guarantee I will be hopping around SP very very soon.

Speaking of drone shots, been a while since I dusted that off...Was planning on going out today and using it but my Alternator now needs replaced. Sitting at home waiting on that instead today😫😫 Glad you are going above and beyond on the customer service, I feel it's been pretty atrocious from most companies lately.
