Tough Bite Jaw Jackers Salvaged the Trip

Went up North to go after some brutes rainbows and brown, boy was it tough, didn't end up catching any brutes but the fish were quality. Call it not fishing in some folks opinions including my own but the ONLY thing working this trip were Jaw Jackers.

The fish were super finicky, maybe after the tournament but they were in no mood to hit moving lures. I ended up catching 7 fish all over 18 inches and stayed at a awesome lodge. Here is the video [log in for link]

I love the jaw jacker. I know some people hate on them, but I use one every time I go out. No doubt they can save a trip. Nice fish, I'll check out the video later.

Nice work! Jaw Jacker produced big time for me at South on Monday morning, Cant figure out why it caught most of the fish better to be lucky than good.

The south has always done well for me with little atomic teasers and one lake I can't jig and catch. I fished it only once and I think it was luck because they were aggressive this day.

Best part is no bait in catching them all, the lake is flies and lures only but they love those Berkley teasers since i think they are scented.

hey man, in my opinion, the goal is to catch fish ... and if you have a tool in the toolbox that is working, use it! Couple a beauties in that video, and just overall really awesome production quality!

Dan,

As much as I prefer to fish jigging and trying different lures and methods to entice a bite, sometimes it is rough. Since i have two rod stamp. I figure leaving one rod to dead stick while jigging the other isn't a bad idea and allows you to see what the fish are wanting and man this day no moving lures had a shot.
