Great Day

Bluegill, perch, and trout all in one day for this fella. He didnt initially want to go but I talked him in to it. Once the bite was on, he didnt want to leave. Caught his trout within 2 minutes of dropping line. Can't complain with a great day on the ice with the eldest boy!

It really doesn't get any better than that. My earliest good memories in life are my parents patiently baiting my hook and letting me catch some bluegill in the 1960s. The boy is lucky to have a good Dad. Keep up the good work!

Ice was pretty good on saturday. Went again today and it was a little slushy but still a solid 6 where we were. Landing a catfish out of the ice today, which I've never done!
