Cherry Creek the new Georgetown?

Beware -After last night's hurricane winds, there are PILES of sand on the ice. It's a lot worse the closer to shore that you are. A bunch of 3" thick ice was ripped of the water around the marina and flipped onto the 8" of stable ice.
All of the snow is gone, leaving a crust you'll sink through in places. Marked plenty of fish but only one bite and one fish.
Bonus- 7 eagles were out on the ice this morning. Usually see 1 or 2.

Thanks for the report. Hopefully the wind goes away sooner then later, i'm liking the temps next 10 days, good hope.

I thought you might also be talking about the number of people there. Place has been really busy this year.

You are right about that. i've been icing the creek for about 14 years and there were several days that there were people everywhere! And not just fishing- wandering all around walking sledding and even the annual hockey area!

Other than the size, elevation, fish species, average water temp, aquatic insect base, forage fish, surrounding wildlife, boating hours and bigfoot sightings--YES! They are exactly the same...........
