With the W--D
I'd hold off or call the station, Ranger Amy has been updating the conditions

There is ice 1-4" on the south side of the reservoir. Please be aware that ice is variable. Just because it is 4" in one spot, doesn't mean that it isn't very thin just a few feet away. There are still pockets of open water on the rest of the lake.

The lake is fine for ice fishing. Caught a walleye and a few wipers. Here is the ice and it got thicker since this pick was taken which was yesterday morning. The ice looks funky but once drilled through it has 4 inches with 3 that are solid looking. Spud bar as always though and be careful.

Thanks! I hope it's still good for Thursday and Friday.

Should be it's super cold there tonight and the highs during the day are not the highest.

Any word on ice thickness out there? Is it worth the drive to give it a go?

I couldnít tell you the thickness as I havenít been out in a couple of weeks but most reports for other people state well over a hundred people being out on the ice on weekends.

My buddy Greg was out there yesterday caught a few walleye ice is 10 inches by the south shore and some broken and refrozen. Solid, but ice is never safe so use caution.
