Ice Conditions!

I live real close to DeWeese.
I've been meaning to go check it out. I'll try to get by there over the weekend if someone else doesn't report.

Hey Bacalini,
I did a drive-by on DeWeese this morning. Trying to attach a few photos.
Ice looks good. Several shelters, people fishing on the south side about mid-lake. I walked the ice on the north side. I'm no ice expert, but seemed pretty solid to me. Send me a report if you go. I'll go punch a hole after I get past Christmas chores.

i fished the north side on thursday the 17th ice is 6 inches thick 3-4 inches of snow on top

Hunterbobb please consider doing a lake update. With the changing conditions it's super helpful.

P.S. The mile was steady on Saturday between 4 us landed 7 between 16-19 as for me I got 11 mile skunk.

Fished DeWeese for a few hours early AM. Had several good bites & managed to pull one fat one up. 52 degrees in places on the way home. Ice is still good though, and people fishing all over the lake. Surprised at the crowd on a Tuesday.

Any fresh news on DeWeese? Hoping to take a few kids out in the morning. I suspect the ice is fine, but I get nervous with a hot south wind blasting my house for a few days.
