Lake: Aurora Reservoir

Tues 10/20

Me and a few friends are thinking of hitting Aurora for the first time this tues on our canoes. Any advice or tips on the water body in general would be appreciated! I was reading about the $10 watercraft fee which is fine. Is there a day use fee as well and if so would a state parks pass be valid for the day use fee? You can also email me at moobadooba.mk@gmail.com if you dont want to post here. Thanks in advance!

Your state parks pass is not valid at Aurora. There is an additional $10 daily entry fee also that is good for both Aurora and Quincy. I haven't fished there in a few months, hopefully someone will chime in with current info. Good luck! Be aware if that wind kicks up, it can be brutal!

Reach out to Hawaiian Punch he fishes there all the time and I think has the lake pretty well down and always willing to share.

I was trying to do that but can't see a way to contact him through the skipper page.
