Been out the last 5 days working the walleyes over OK at Pueblo. Landed 63 walleyes with 17 of those over the 18 inch keeper size. Best was a 25.25 incher and yes she is still swimming. As usual you get a few surprises like 7 SMB, 4 spotted bass and 2 flathead cats. However today was a whooper of a surprise. Hit her first thing in the morning on a jigging Rap and took about 15 minutes to land her. 38 inches long and an unofficial weight on our scale of 27 pounds 12 ounces. All I can say is I am one happy camper, I mean fishermen.

I would be a huge butthead if I did not thank my net man Mr. J Davis. He cleanly netted both my walleye and flathead. He also had a really cool folding measuring board and his scale. Thanks for the assist!

Really cool big flathead, pretty cool cat-camo alright! After lifting thousands of lbs one ounce at a time the last 5 days I’m surprised you could still lift that dude! Well deserved!
