Fished from 0900-1230, bite is starting to get better, still getting jiggy, 6fow to 21fow same humps and breaks, shad are still around but thinning. Caught 11, most small and 2 at 19 1/2 s and 22 1/4 er, put back the bigger and took the smaller for tacos...lets see if the pics come out- on phone....

Hey TeamGR3, I was wondering if you would be willing to share a little bit of advice with me. I am pretty familiar with CC during the Spring and Summer using bottom bouncers and blade baits/ jigging raps. For some reason I have never been able to figure out the fall bite. Im curious about what you are jigging? Hopefully that will steer me in the right direction from what I am doing wrong. Any advice is much appreciated!

@ ndmcool, exactly what you posted for jigging... most threads are even posting size and color which is just personal preference, I match the hatch as close as possible...hope that helps !

Great outing and getting some really nice fish. Jigging eyes is a good way to spend the Autumn season. In between hunting trips that is.

I will also do my homework on the current size and shape of the shad. I'll report if I figure it out for myself!
