Arrived this morning just before sunrise. The outlet was off, and the inlet was running.....The bite was poor, perhaps due to the weather.? They turned the outlet back on at about 9am. The inlet was running full, when I left around noon..
I saw one small boat launch from the boat ramp. It was quite rocky where I was fishing, so there was no mud problems.. The water was very low, but fishable...
Jumbo is one of many reserviors here in CO that are nothing more than a water holding place for farmers, the fish are there for us to enjoy, but in no way do the fish get any kind of consideration when it come's to the water going back out. We have wet years and dry years.CWP got most of the fish out and what's left is in salvage mode.I've lived here 62 years and this is not a new thing. Not much we can do about it,other than grin and bear it. "This too shall pass"
That is great to hear, I'm surprised the inlet is on, trying to think where water comes from since i drove all around didn't see much water coming in, still good to hear.
5feet of water is a stretch, that is only by the outlet, most of the lake was 2.5feet when I was there Monday.
