Lake is closed and being drained for work on the outlet structure. Fence around the entire lake and access is closed untill March of next year..sad day.
I wonder if any fish will survive?

The pink ones will likely make it. Just feed them granola. On the thing.....

Boulder Res is a great fishery, hope some can survive, it will depend on how low they drain it. The way this year is going I'm afraid to find out. At least the city leadership in Boulder believes fish should be un-harmed so I think they'll do their best to make sure they save the fish.

opening boulder res to salvage fishing would not do anything except cause a super spreader event for covid19 . it is not saving the fish that boulder cares it is saving the lives of dirt bags and idiots . also the lives of the staff and park rangers who would have to police the idiots . i have a good reason to be annoyed by management at boulder res . they did not put out the word on the draw down when they sold me my kayaking permit . i got jacked on both ends short season due to the covid 19 closure and this maintenance drawdown .
