Catching Beautiful Fish On A Couple Of Different Presentations

Post By: bharper      Posted: 8/22/2020 10:37:17 AM     Points: 262
I started the day out catching a few smaller Snake River Cutthroats,Rainbows, and Browns on a 1/4oz Marabou Hair Jig. I spotted numerous Cutts but they were just looky louís! I then picked up a Rapala Countdown and starting slow rolling it with subtle little jerks.I had a few follows it then finally got the big Bow of the day to eat it! When she came up on it I thought she was gonna follow and turn away but she got it by the tail hook. I then went to hit another location on my way home and got into a few more chunky bows by slow rolling the Countdown in the current.

Golfprogreg- 22Ē around 3 1/2 lbs. itís first half was pretty thick but a little skinnier in the tail. It shouldíve been in the 4+ lb range. The heat combined with that fishery being over pressured because of Covid has the fish a little weary. I havenít fished that fishery in quite a while because of all the people.

That's awesome! Always a fun day when you're catching them consistently different things! You seem to always do well with the maribou jigs, still need to grab some. I haven't fished a CD Rapala in a while!! Used to be my go-to before I found HD Trouts.

COFF - Kalin's Jigs Or Crappie Jigs (1/16-1/4 oz) at Cabelas. You can also go to Sportsmans then buy some Mararbou or deer hair,1/16 -1/4 oz ballhead jigs, some flash, and thread to tie your own! Iíve been catching them on Kalinís Marabou Jigs lately but below are some of the ones I tied myself from list of the supplies above!
