I am fairly new to the Fort Collins area. Always looking for more small streams to fish for Brook or Cutthroat trout with my grand kids.
I recently traveled down Larimer county road 80C below Eaton reservoir. Sheep creek runs along this road and some on public land. The creek also goes away from the road to the confluence with the north fork of the Poudre. Where I was the river was stained and flowing strong. I did not fish but just scouted.
My question is does this creek hold fish? Is there decent fishing here on Sheep or the north fork in this area? I do not expect directions to some ones honey hole. Just general information if this is worth exploration and fishing.
I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thank you.
