Introducing my new kayak -

Post By: FishingJunkie      Posted: 7/30/2020 2:45:52 PM     Points: 1816
Here it is: 'SS SCUTTLE' - picked it up yesterday at noon - already had the maiden voyage - it's fun. I can load it up and down the truck by myself. Need a cart to get it to and from water but once there it's stable and fun.

Hope to see you on the water again, soon.

Catch 120? (I think that's the pedal drive model.)

How much does it weigh?

Curious how you like the peddle drive? You still bring a paddle, or no?

Yes, it is a peddle-drive. About 84lbs. So far I love the peddle drive (only one outing, mind you) - it's a lot of fun to be hands free. Yes, of course, I still bring the paddle. It sits higher than my old inflatable one, so my 213mm paddle feels a bit short, but hey - it's just for backup.

What’s her name?

My daughter affectionately dubbed it 'ss scuttle' (from Little Mermaid, for those with no kids).

Ahoy -
