PB Wiper

Post By: SGM      Posted: 7/8/2020 8:29:41 AM     Points: 14399
Had a good day at Pueblo yesterday and had to share my good luck with my personal best wiper. Was fishing for walleyes when this brute hit my jig and worm.

28.5 inches, guess 12-14 pound range. Still swimming to maybe hit 30 inch mark.

Whew. Great fish. What a hog. Not a bad "byproduct catch" I'd say, right??

WTG. It is amazing how fast these fish grow. Only landed fishing in 7-8, 4-5 and 1-2 lb range this year. Hope they keep stocking these guys.

Thank all, we have been getting several this year in the 20 to 23 inch range which are great fish but when this tank took off on its first big run I knew it was a bit better. Amazing how they fight. Sure hope they keep the numbers up.

Funny how those wipers run in schools and how sporadic it can be. When we were on your boat in May, we didnít catch one till the 3rd day, then we caught 4. But nothing like that hoss! Thanks for letting me have a chance at it next year!
