Fish: Cutthroat Trout

staycation cutties

Every summer we rent a cabin and stay in a different mountain community for a week of fishing and exploring--but not this year. We did a stay at home vacation but still had a nice get together with good friends up at timberline. 5 of us caught 106 cutties and brookies last Monday. Here are some photos of the excursion.

This was Toadfishes last CO trip for now as he moved out of state a few days later. Glad we got to all fish together before he left.

Thanks guys! I lost a big one while we took a lunch break...threw out some salmon eggs as far into the lake by the dam as I could and while were taking a break almost had my pole go in. Played it for a minute then gone.

Team COFF...maybe next year we can take you guys up there.
