Wipers are the real deal and they will put some serious strain on your light gear. Here's a fish from Tuesday

thanks for the support guys, it is indeed a blast.

Kenai - I don't know what a white bass is, but I did catch these... I think they're

1) channel catfish (ccokster and FXAO really seem to like these)
2) arctic char
3) tiger muskie (you can tell because all the stripes)

Who knew?

The ID's are 100% correct. They came from years of being on this forum and the countless times people have asked for fish ID. I then took notes and compiled them in an effort to be able to help people like... Kenai.. NTOTF and fishgutz!

Then I tore the notes into little pieces and put them in a barrel and spun them around and plucked them out one by one.

That's called gathering empirical data!

I've been trying to catch a tiger muskie for years! Today I learned that I have done it!
Thanks to anglerwannabe's correct fish ID's

Well done, Jim! And I do like those channel catfish, tiger muskies are a lot more fun to catch.
