Lake: Granby Lake

Remarkable Day for me on the lake

Post By: ParkerDude      Posted: 6/5/2020 4:29:48 PM     Points: 1186
I've been fishing pretty regularly year around on Granby chasing lakers for the last 3 years but today was a big day. I caught by far my largest fish, a 39.5" (might have been 40 if I stretched him a little) laker and watched a moose swim all the way across ABAY. Thanks to Jeremy for his help landing the fish and all the pointers along the way. I attached a few pics. Both the laker and moose live for another day.

Monster (and ancient) fish. The moose is cool too. Sounds like a great day.

That is one heck of a day! Those moose are awesome. Especially when they are at a safe distance. I knew they liked water but never knew they were that good at swimming. My guess is itís very deep right there. Just out of curiosity what depth did the laker come out of?
