Welcome frank. If you look at the top of the page you will see a “fish species” box. It will take you to an encyclopedia of fish species to help you identify the fish you catch. Most people here will help identify as well. It also helps getting a good stiff arm side shot of the fish as well so we can properly identify and give you your “official size” measurement. Looks like a walleye to me as well though. Could be a tiger shark. Need stiff arm angle to verify.

Lol. Enjoy your stay and feel free to ask what ever need.

That's a walleye or saugeye and be sure to look at your regulations for limits and restrictions before you keep any fish if you choose to do so.There are lots and lots of regulation on the waters thru out the state.

Eye for sure. Good eatin fish at that. Welcome to the forum, site, and the world of fishin. It’s a cheap sport at first 😉. Great folks around here and usually willing to share and help in many ways. Popcorn comes in handy at times.
