With it being HIGH RUNOFF time for Colorado, it isn't the most optimal time to go hit the rivers due to turbulent high water and terrible water clarity. With that being said, you can still get good fish if you find the right water to fish! Just like any river fishing, it's about identifying water!
We got out a week ago and had great success, hitting calm pockets, pools, seams, and side currents off of the main current. We got 4 species of trout, including Rainbow, Brown, Snake River Cutty, and a gorgeous Master Angler Colorado River Cutthroat! In the video we discuss what we did to land them as well.
It was a really fun day out on the water with the team and the weather was outstanding! Got some really nice drone shots of the South Canyon area and Hogback Mountains too! Hope you enjoy the video if you have time!
