Jumbo res

Well with banner lakes being a no go, I Have a qdoba remodel this week for work in Kearney, Neb. Looking to possibly hit jumbo when the jobs over. Not looking for spots but tackle and lure options to try and get into some fish. Will be catch and release if that helps. Thanks everyone

Shore fisherman like the rocky dam areas around the outlet and the south shoreline. Throwing swim baits, grubs, and cranks will produce for you.

Everytime, I hear will be catch and release when someone goes after walleye I laugh. A delicious fish like walleye is rarely caught and released especially when someone spends all that gas money to get up there.

Jumbo is fishing well. Swimbaits are on fire right now in white or green, work the muddy flats for your best chances. Also rock structure for some crappie they can be located in about 4 to 6 feet of water along the rocks on the main side.

I know how important the walleye spawn in this state is. I would be okay catching a bunch of small sunnies

The eyes are bitting. All should be done spawning and ready to feed. The post storm bite was off the other day but should be bouncing back fine. Try rocky wind blow shorelines. Should produce some fish.

I apologize for my assumption, hope it helps either way.

Tell Steve to finish that Qdoba job so he doesn't miss any more tee times.
