Banner lakes worth it?

Post By: ratherbefishing      Posted: 4/28/2020 10:39:36 PM     Points: 110
So have family land in Hudson and haven't fished banner Lakes since I was a kid. Was wondering if it would be worth trying in the next couple weeks. Looking to target anything really. Thanks in advance

Based on what I've heard in the past couple of weeks from a couple of different guys it's not really worth it.

doubtful. they are doing a bunch of work on the dams out there and it's pretty messed up.

I was out there a week ago. I walked around all the ponds south of Hwy 52. I didn't see a single fish swimming in any of them. One of the ponds was super clear and I fully expected to see fish, but didn't even see bait fish. I won't be going back to fish anytime soon. Also, came back with my kids just to walk around a few days after I fished, and picked a couple tics off my kids coat so be careful.

Maybe there was another die off like this one in 2016.
