I too, love the Pan, but I've only fished the Bowl twice in the 12 years or so I've been going over there.
I know there are a bunch of fish in that spot but usually it's a "Full Contact" sport that I'm not a fan of, especially being an old guy.
I usually fish the Pan with U/L spin tackle, a disease I caught from Anglerwannabe
Very neat video and I really appreciate you sharing it with us.
The first pic is at the Bowl, you can see the rocks, last pic is my largest ever on the Pan a 29" X 16 1/2", that day was epic with 3 fish over 20" and 51 to net in 4 hours.

anglerwannabe ... man I seriously appreciate your comment. It's not easy lugging around all that camera and fishing gear in those kind of weather conditions ... but I do truly enjoy it, and hope others enjoy the final product too! many thanks, dan

Bill (anteroman), thanks for sharing your FP experiences and those are some amazing catches! I can completely relate to your comment on the TB ... and that's why I've been going on the coldest of days before sunrise. Trying to get in, fish/film, and get out ahead of the crowds. Likely gonna be my last trip to the TB for awhile, as there are many other beautiful stretches of water "in the neighborhood" I'm anxious to explore! Hope to catch you on the water one of these days and thanks again for the kinds words, dan

Appreciate that Team COFF! And really do try to put some time into editing to keep things interesting. Probably the biggest headache with every video is finding the right music to match the feel/vibe I'm going for. In this video it was 4 different songs, and took me most of a full day to find and finally decide on the actual songs. But I think I found some that fit well eventually! Once I've got the music picked out, the editing goes much faster. General process is find music, go thru every clip and find those I like, import those clips into Premiere, start piecing together and lining up to the music. Once the timeline is all built out, then I work on things like color grading, transitions, titles/graphics, and audio. Gotten into a nice flow doing things that way, and always looking to add more to my stuff to keep the audience engaged. If you ever have any tips/suggestions, would love to hear them. Thanks again for the kind words! dan

I have a few fish friends who have incorporated this song in Billfish videos they've done, pretty easy to listen to and it goes great with a jumping sailfish or marlin..............and YES your going to let her go.

Sorry for late response. I saw your reply this morning...just wanted to show my GF this. It's funny because we have almost an identical movie making process lol. The music really is the hardest part for me. Sometimes I find something that fits in 20 minutes and sometimes it takes me the whole day. Glad we share in some of the same struggles haha.
