Icing Conditions
​Avocet: 0-2" - soft shorelines

Bald Eagle: 0-2" - ~50% open water/skim

Blue Heron: 0-3" - ~75% open water/skim on North shore to center

Coot: 0-3" - soft shorelines and varied thickness throughout

Killdeer: 0-2" - soft shorerlines

Mallard: 0-3.5" - ~ 10% open water/skim on north shore, soft shorelines, thicker on southeast side close to Camper Services Building

Pelican: NO ICE FISHING permitted due to aerators- ~30% open water, can be fished from shore at 2 locations on north shore

Pintail: 0-2" - soft shorelines

Redtail: 1-3" - soft shorelines - No Fish in Pond

Sandpiper: 0-3" - ~30% open water/skim, very weak shorelines

Yellowlegs: 0-2" - soft shorelines

I was out there yesterday and the answer is a resounding no. About a third of sandpiper is open water and fishable.
