Two Buttes fish salvage

Just saw this and thought I'd pass it on.
Low water prompts CPW to order emergency fish salvage at Two Buttes Reservoir.

Two Buttes Reservoir is in imminent danger of a catastrophic fish kill due to extremely low lake levels. Hoping to avoid the loss of a large number of fish, a public fish salvage was authorized, effective Dec. 2, by Brett Ackerman CPWs Southeast Region Manager.

An emergency fish salvage means bag and possession limits are suspended for Two Buttes Reservoir until this order is lifted. Anglers must use legal fishing methods and a valid Colorado fishing license is required.

Interesting that only legal methods are allowed during a fish salvage. I would think anything short of explosives should be allowed for a "salvage".

Thats a bummer if it is indeed a reality?! I recently watched a re-run or YouTube of Fishful Thinker where Chad and Austin Parr spent a day there tearin it up, lotsa fish in that pond.
