How you know you had a good day

Wanna know how you know you had a good day on the water? Check out these pics. this poor lure started with 3 trebles.. it came home with one severely bent treble and the other two trebles have been turned into frog hooks! Only caught rainbows today but wow are they fat.. no pics of the bows here, but there will be video in the near future.

Oh man I had a couple of days like that at Spinney and Antero with a certain jerkbait that had light wire trebles...after that day I went out and replaced all of the hooks on that brand of jerkbait

The fish in 11 Mile are aggressive! Here is a picture of my broken lure from today's outing.

I'm glad you had a good day with a lot of action. But I've had great days on the water only catching a couple during the week when I was supposed to be at work ! And no crowd to fight with.

thanks guys.

bhooker - the boat season is closed... wanna guess how many people were on the lake? Saturday it was just me on my tube.. Sunday it was just my son and myself. It like having my own private giant lake.

Greg - not just a chance.. but a really good chance. I caught them all over. Near shore, away from shore.

Busted hooks are a sure sign! Late fall is a good time to catch monsters. All the fair weather anglers and players are gone. :) Low angling pressure and fish eager to get fat before the winter => good fishing. Alas, I think I have joined the ranks of the fair weather anglers. :)
