West Lake Fish Wounds

On 1013/19 cuaght 18 Rainbows at West Lake and everyone had cold sore type wounds on them, I posted a couple pictures on West Lake page if anyone knows what these are this could be helpful. Thank you

I remember seeing stuff like that on them. It was a bacteria or worms or something. Hopefully fish seal sees this post he might know.

I've seen the same thing at West Lake and especially at Dowdy. Some kind of worms. I don't eat them from RFL area.

Hook worms if i remember correctly. Not harmful as long as you cook it well.

I have fished theos lakes in a few years but the fish up there always have sores.

They had a hook worm outbreak in all the lakes up there. Cook well if you are going to eat them.
