Road Trip Bass

I stopped and fished a Rest Area Pond today on my way home from Denver! I only fished for about an hour! Twenty minutes into fishing I pitched out a 5Ē Senko Style Worm in a PB & J color and hooked this freight train 19 1/2Ē 4.2 lber! I thought at first this fish was over 5 lbs by the way it dug and ran stripping drag! Full moon delight fight!

You must think like me Harper....theres at least 1 biggun in every body of water so why not try? That is a tank!

Thx everyone Iíve been having fun!🤙

Bron- Definitely! Iím always trying to find those spots on the lake that the biggins might be laying around! This one happened to be on the backside of a small weed bed about 15-20 ft out!

SirGreg- I got blow off of Antero on Tuesday evening but did hook a decent smaller Brown around 18Ē! I got there too late in the day.

Salt in the wound. Im hoping to head up Monday or Tuesday. I imagine the nights are quite crisp now. Were the weeds heavy from shore?

Way to hate "fishinpole". Instead of chiming in with negative comments, post your own fish pictures or better yet, don't say anything at all.

Assbass- Thx! I was trying to refrain from commenting! Not the best fish picture angle from setting phone timer on my backpack! It definitely was a 4 lber! I like to be as accurate as possible on my weights! I have a fairly accurate scale that Iíve weighed some of my workout weights on! Itís within a couple of ounces on a 5 lb weight and 4 oz on a 10 lb weight 👍🎣
