Need help with tream Fishing locations

Hey Fellas,

My dad is in town visiting and he loves to stream fish. He is older now and has a harder time getting around. I was hoping that someone on here could help me out with finding a good spot to find some decent fishing spots. I live in Monument, and would be willing to travel a few hours to put him in a great spot. It has taken him a year to get out to visit and this has been his only request. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and the favor would be returned.

Thanks all.

Feel free to email if you want.

11 mile canyon is a great spot for people who can’t get around very well. Lots of easy access spots. Fishing has been a little tougher than usual due to low water and lots of pressure. Get there early so you get a good spot. Tricos are the main hatch right now. Another suggestion I would have for you is go onto anglers covey’s website and look at “where to fish”. They list and give info on most creek and rivers in the Peak Region.
