Thanks for asking. I'm told by all parties that this is a temporary situation...they negotiating new contract terms and the viewers are hosed in the process. We're looking at our legal options now...stay tuned. CL

The Avalanche are the only thing I miss about not having cable. We haven't had cable for close to 10 years now. I do have Sling for ESPN and Pac 12.
Give me a way to purchase a subscription to Fishful Thinker like I can Addictive Fishing through the Roku, and I would do it. Otherwise, sorry, I won't be watching your show since it isn't enough for me to go back to cable.

Ajax, We have Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Sling. We would have Netflix and Amazon Prime anyway, since most of the shows we watch are originals. I did have Hulu TV for a bit last year, I think it was to watch a Buffs game on one of the sports channels that Sling doesn't have, but I don't remember. I canceled it and went back to the Hulu streaming after whatever it was I watched. And I use Sling for "live" TV. I went with Sling because they carried the PAC-12 network. Hulu TV might be a better option for you, take a look at the differences and what you want. I also pay small annual fees for some streaming channels like Addictive Fishing (it's like $2 a year). It's all still way cheaper than cable, even if you don't take out the cost of of Prime and Netflix, which I would have regardless.
I have an antenna for local over the air channels, and that is pretty much for sports, like the Broncos game and college football on Saturdays. We don't watch much network TV, and ABC is streamed on Hulu a day after the show airs, so you can watch whenever.

Thanks Freestone! I am at work so can only look at my Roku account online, but see that channel as an option. I will check it out tonight and if no one else has, will report on what it costs. Thanks again!
Yes, it is available on Amazon Fire Stick and Amazon Fire Cube. Amazon Fire TVs are not yet supported. Please go to the Amazon Fire TV Store on your Amazon Fire stick or cube and search for 'myoutdoortv'."
