URGENT CLOSURE NOTICE: On 9/3, Eleven Mile, Spinney Mountain, and Charlie Meyers experienced severe thunderstorms resulting in flash flooding, 16 inches of hail, and severe road damage. At this time, Charlie Meyers, Spinney after the north boat ramp, and the south side of Eleven Mile from Highway 24 are inaccessible due to extensive flooding and road damage. County Road 92 is closed from Stoll Mountain to Spinney SWA, as are many of the surrounding roads. While flooding is subsiding, expect possible long-term road damage and possibly closures. We plan to assess the extent of the damage to Spinney and Charlie Meyers tomorrow in the daylight and will provide updates. Please take time to plan ahead and thank you for working with us while we assess and repair the damages.
Maybe they will fix the roads once and 4 all, they have been a mess for YEARS pot holes wash board dirt roads as much as we pay for PARKS AND REC FEES THEY HAVE NOT DONE ANY IMPROVEMENTS TO THE ROADS EVER OVER MANY, MANY YEARS of neglect......

dscheld, The roads accessing and surrounding Eleven Mike and Spinney belong to Park County and not CPW. With the miles of roads in the county, and limited financial resources, they do what they can to maintain and repair them, but heavy vehicle traffic and harsh weather conditions have certainly taken their toll over the years. While I feel your pain, you’re calling out the wrong agency!
P.S. No need to “yell” in your posts. Good Fishing! Ski
That is good to know Skiman, though not surprising I guess that those are all country roads. I had always kinda wondered why the road leading to Charlie Myers wasn't super awesome, but I can imagine that County has VERY limited resources.
