Looking for crawdads in the Cherry Creek

I have a few traps where's a good spot?

C.C. is a poor choice for craws.I know of other places.Have you thought about the west boat ramp at Chatty . . . .ton of rocks . . .I'd think its a good spot.

JohnsFishing.Do you know where the small creek emptys in Chatty by the west ramp? Its southwest of the ANS station.I've traped craws there at night . . .is a little walk from the west ramp parking lot,but its got great rocks and a trickle of water flow to bring craws to the bait in your trap.

I'm no expert but along the dam and anywhere that has rocks should be a place to start your search.

Night time is the best time imo anywhere you go. Just keep in mind if you leave them over night be careful there not obvious. Mud bug traps grow legs unfortunately.
