Don't Bash the Trash - Carp Craze - Sat 10th at Adams County Fairgrounds

Post By: JOHN_COSprings      Posted: 8/7/2019 7:02:02 PM     Points: 630
The 5th season of Don't Bash the Trash Carp Tournaments is in full swing this year. The final event will be at Mann-Nyholt Lake, Adams County Fairgrounds, this Saturday 10th August.

For Registration information visit. [log in for link]

The last event, at Johnson Reservoir, had a massive 99 carp caught during the tournament ! WOW !

I have paid my $$ and will be there on Saturday to do battle and hopefully, drink some victory coffee.

Format of the event has been changed from total fish/length to single biggest fish recorded for each angler - this hopefully will balance out some local knowledge and hot-spotting and ensure everyone is in with a chance for GLORY !

Tight-Lines,
John

"Don't bash the Trash."
Wait... you're already bashing what you don't want bashed!

Just rattlin' a few cages. Have fun and let's see some rod bending for these finicky beasts.

Wish I could be there, but I'll be in the mountains, trout fishing and drinking victory whiskey. Make us proud John. Can't wait to see what you catch.

Here is what TLO just posted to their FB page this afternoon. Event Cancelled for 10th, will be rescheduled hopefully to a later date/venue.

IMPORTANT UPDATE- We say this at every event and we practice it daily. We build all our events for the anglers that participate in them. The current anglers participating in our Carp event series have shown a lot of concern about the fishing at Adams County Event. We have spoke with the registered anglers and are going to reschedule to another date/venue to offer better opportunity to all the anglers. Please be patient as we work on this change. With that said, thank you to the Carp anglers for talking to me about this event.

Man I was really looking forward to fishing a home lake. Too bad. Glad I wasn't registered yet.

From what Im seeing I think there was little confidence for catching there in August. Im guessing Chatty in the fall.

Was there and they were feeding on the surface most of the day. No luck, but the next day got hits on peanut butter
