Lake: Adobe Creek Reservoir (Blue Lake)

Boat Ramp at Blue (Adobe Creek Reservoir)

Can anyone provide an update on the water level at Blue and if water is still being released into the lake?

Also, how far do you have to back your truck into the lake in order to get deep enough to launch your boat with Blue's current water level?

From what I have seen on another site, Blue Mesa is FULL with some water still coming in, so you shouldn’t have a problem launching. Ski

The lake is 16’ low but you can unload a boat. You will be getting wet unloading by yourself. The taller the trailer the more you’ll have to back in. The ramp is not steep, it’s more like the east ramp by the dam at John Martin. With a boat like yours you’ll have to back a ways out but is doable. Be sure not to pull off by the ramp there’s soft sand and people burn pallets and lots of nails. Best to stay on the gravel.
