Poudre headwaters cutthroat restoration knowledge?

Hi all, I know we have many local experts on this forum and many people associated with or intimately familiar with CPW and trout unlimited projects. I have been planning a little day trip and when recently looking for info I came across an undated article talking about cutthroat restoration in the upper poudre. the map of the project showed pending action all the way up to poudre lake off of trail ridge road in RMNP. I was planning on starting there and hiiking down the valley a bit to catch some small wild trout, but the article mentions fish barriers and at some point, removal of all fish and restocking with greenbacks. I just got suddenly worried that headwater section below the lake in the park might currently be in 'fish removal' mode. Anyone have knowledge of this project and know if that section below poudre lake is still untouched as of this point and therefore fishable? thank you!
