Going to hang out with some old friends in cedaredge this weekend. It will be my first time in the grand mesa area. If anybody has any info on where i can catch some nice trout, please let me know? And about posting pictures. I haven't been able to post a picture on fish explorer in more than 2 years. It says the j peg image is to big. I own a cheap android phone. I'm sure lots of people post pics with way better phones and cameras than mine. I dont get it

Theres some small lakes just up the road to the mesa.(remember the ATV went through last winter) the lakes all hold trout and can be a quick and easy way to put some on the table.
Q: shore or boat?
Picture problems . . . ,.I'm not the guy.

Most of the hike in lakes where the bigger fish reside are locked in by snow drifts. Many of those and others might have winter killed from the extreme snow and ice for longer than normal. Stop at the Visitors Center. They have been fielding those same questions for a few weeks now and might have answers. Just donít expect the locals to give that guarded information to strangers. There might be some holdover fish in a few lakes by the road. Have to get out and jig a kastmaster ( or throw a fly and bubble) and find out for yourself!
