This is the first confirmed catch and release that I personally have seen from Antero, a good friend of mine caught took a picture of and released this Tiger Muskie, I believe they originally put somewhere between six and eight hundred in the lake to help with sucker control.

I saw this article a couple years back. Earlier last month. I had a fellow tell me they caught pike at Antero. I told him it was a tiger musky. CPW stocked 800 then 325 more ....i2

Nice, give it time and someone will catch a real trophy out of there.

Get ready to lose some lures and flies to those teeth. I remember when they were introduced into Quincy in Aurora. They like wooly buggers!

I caught this Tiger Muskie this past Thursday, 6/6 at Antero. Surprised me as I had no idea they were in there. Thought it was a pike. He took a big flashy streamer called a "Humongous" on a midge tip fly line in about 10 feet of water.
