Unscented soft plastics

Post By: Wacokid57      Posted: 6/6/2019 10:20:31 AM     Points: 11
Howdy. Do any of you Spinney folks know of a source of unscented plastic baits? Tube jigs, worms, grubs, anything. I thought I might check here for advise before I start wandering around. I am thinking about trying the walleye Slow Death technique for trout, and need a legal soft plastic to use. Thanks!!

Rob that the Chaparral Park General Store is really nice and has a good selection of tubes. Not sure about worms and stuff.

The Berkley Havoc lineup is unscented and unsalted. minus the Smash Tube which last time i checked had salt in the packaging. I know it doesn't really say it on the packaging but they mentioned it during an In-Fisherman show and after that i emailed Berkley just to get confirmation and they said the same.

Definitely the Trout Attack soft swim-jig. These are deadly for that exact technique. These have a paddle tail and are unscented.

If you are ever in the Loveland/Berthoud area stop by Bennetts bait and tackle they have a nice selection in like mason jars, you can get however many of each one.

In general though a lot of the generic brands should havewhat you need. Sportsmans store brand, cabelas, etc.

Any word on when Dynamic is getting their bigger version of the trout attack on the market?
