Any tips on how to avoid getting seaweeds and moss tangled in your bait or spinners? I fish from shore.

Try taking the hooks off the lure. Itíll snag a lot less weeds.

Ajax - LOL now I know why YOU don't catch fish.

Robert - Welcome to the forum. The weeds are your friend!!! You're not gonna be able to use spinners and go weedless.. at least none that I'm aware of. You could probably inflate a worm on a hook, but not sure what you would catch there with an over inflated nightcrawler.

For your spinners.. either wade in or get some waders and wade a little, then fish the weedline

But if you're determined to catch fish there.. and it doesn't have to be trout.... watch this video and pay attention to the lure.. it'll be warm enough soon for this tactic
